Local art events!

is running Dr. Sketchy's at Tatame Lounge in Winter Park tomorrow night at 7 PM.

Also, is doing the Orlando Original Comics Club. They meet up about every month (I think) at the Alafaya Branch Library; the next one is on 5/11/08 at 2 PM.

I might be at Dr. Sketchy's depending on how things go tomorrow (first day at a new job, yay!) Those of you who can should totally go regardless, because it's promising to be awesome.

So... I figure I should probably write something about myself. I don't really create stuff, most of the time. Can't draw or color to save my life. That isn't to say I'm not creative - I just don't express it in the usual sense. I set up my DA account a few years ago thinking I might change that, and it never happened.

Nowadays, I happen to spend a fair amount of my time hanging around friends who happen to be artists (not to mention all-around great people.) Between that, and the tons upon tons of cool stuff on DA, I've decided to start using my account to keep track of stuff I like and provide moral support for my friends.

I also have an LJ, which can be found at kenny_j.livejournal.com. I post random crap occasionally; about half of my posts are friends-locked by default, so if you want the whole story, friend me! LJ is essentially the main social hub I use on the internets nowadays; believe me, I comment a LOT more than I post.

I may someday write something, or post instructions on how to do stuff (I'm a hands-on kinda guy.) For now, I'll just be stalking random artists when I get bored at work. XD

This is my DA. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My DA is my best friend. It is one of my internets. I must master it as I must master my internets. Without me, my DA is useless. Without my DA, I am useless. I must entertain my DA well. I must create more lulz than my enemy, who is trying to out-lulz me. I must pwn him before he pwns me. I will. Before FSM I swear this creed: my DA and myself are progenitors of the lulz, we are the keepers of the epic, we are the pwners of all we survey.
